Plain Roti



Ingredients
500g plain flour
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp salt.



Method
Add flour, oil and salt to a bowl.



Mix well with your hand for few minutes.
Add water and make soft dough like for pastry.


Kneed well.
Apply oil to the bowl and rest the dough covered for 10 minutes.
Make into lemon size balls.
Put some oil to a flat dish and rest the balls.


Apply oil on top of the balls and cover with cling film and rest for 2-3 hours.
Heat a griddle and apply some oil.
Roll the balls into very thin round sheet.



Cook till done. Do not roast it.
It should be a soft roti.

Serve with any curries like chicken, dhal or potato.
